Visitors to Greater Vancouver are always delighted (and often astonished) by the magnificent gardens. The temperate climate encourages Vancouver Chapter Master Gardeners to create unique gardens that contain an exceptionally wide range of plants. Here are twenty of those gardens- we welcome you to our gardens.

Left- A Favourite Garden of All Who Visit Right- ‘The Family’, Zimsculpt by Patrick Sephani, Astilbe x arendsii ‘Gertrude Brix’

(Himalayan Blue Poppies)- heavenly up high in the Himalayas and heavenly in our gardens (if you have the superior skills to grow them.)

Left- Smilacaena sp. ( ), Dienanthes sp. (Rare hydrangea relative), Rhododendron spp., Astilboides tabularis (Shieldleaf) backed by stand of Phyllostachys nigra (Black Bamboo). Center- Smilacaena flower. Right- Dienanthes flower

Left- Time for Tea in the Gazebo Right- Sunny corner with backdrop of tall Geranium psilostemon (Perennial Geranium)

Left- Hosta close up Right- Dactylorhiza foliosa (Madeiran Orchid)

Left- Entry arbour Right- Winter Gems - Cyclamen coum in early February

Rosa 'Albertine'

Left- The healthy, densely-planted beds are a testament to the great soil in the garden. Center- There are two frogs in this pond- the other is swimming in the water. Right- Soft, warm gravel paths.

Left- The white flowers of Cimicifuga racemosa ‘Brunette’ will fill a garden with sweet scent. Right- Silvery-foliaged plants thrive in this hot bed.

Left- Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’ Center- Dichroa febrifuga, Brunnera macrophylla ‘Jack Frost’ Right Podopyllum ‘Spotty Dotty’
