The North Shore Hospice garden shifts between a setting of busy activity with gardeners, and a restful refuge for patients and families. It is also a place where gardeners exchange information about the garden and its features when asked by interested patients and their visitors, and chat with them about our common love of gardens. In our role as educators, bringing our gardening knowledge and enthusiasm to the public in this setting is both enjoyable and worthwhile.
