ROBERT'S CREEK DELIGHT

Welcome to Rose Lane, Robert's Creek, Sunshine Coast

It was a case of love at first sight when searching for a new home and garden 6 years ago.  I could see that 15 years of neglect by the previous owners had not destroyed the beauty of the mature Japanese maple trees which I discovered were originally planted 35 years ago by a local nurseryman.  With the help of my recently retired husband we removed truckloads of junipers and landscape fabric and began to replant the understory with favourite shrubs and perennials, many of which were with friends who kindly held them for me while we were looking for a new home.

Although we are surrounded with towering cedars and firs and the native soil is like an old creek bed we now have a 1/2 acre garden of eden which delights our guests in the B and B and inspires me in my work as a garden designer.  Visitors are most welcome www.roselanebb.com
